Throw Yourself Into It

Pt. 1

It’s easy to get bored when aren’t working hard to get better.

Really I could just let that sit right there and be done but since it has been a while allow me to explain myself. Who remembers gateway computers? I wouldn’t if it weren’t for that day my 12 year old self stood in the Gateway store with my mom to get our first computer. Then about a week later we got the computer and somebody came and set up our first internet connection. AOL and my instant message name was KingSunflowerChild. Go ahead and laugh.

So what does this have to do with the price of tea in China? Memories of the process to get connected just aren’t that common in today’s world and I can’t help but wonder how it impacts our own ability to walk through our own personal process because proficiency is still on dial up. I am only proficient in the alphabet because I went through the process to learn it.
